Discovering Free Kriegsspiel lead to me revisiting Osseous, my Dave Arneson-inspired 2d6 system, and removing some minor elements that had no real business being there.

[Edit] The experiment continues as Pura becomes Pith. I've left the last version of Pura here just in case my "improvements" don't stand up to rigorous testing.

Amazing, totally want to try this. An incredible example of convergent design with my GIST!. It makes perfect sense since sources of inspiration are common!

Thank you Zeruhur, I just discovered Gist! via Sigve Solvaag's blogspot about FKR tags. I did spot some similarities but Gist! looks stunning.
