Discovering Free Kriegsspiel led to me revisiting Osseous, my Dave Arneson-inspired 2d6 system, and removing some minor elements that had no real business being there.

So, I've read the rules and I like what I see, but I'm a bit confused as to how to implement Qualities.
Is the formula 2d6 + x amount of relevant Qualities + item vs CT?
X=bonus applied and item=1?
So that if I had 2 relevant Qualities+ 1 item, I'd roll 2d6 + 3?
Is that right?
Thanks for checking it out.
Yes, maybe, yes & yes.
Roll 2d6, add any that qualities apply (+1 for each), +1 for item used (or +2 if using a heavy item) vs CT.
Pith is primarily an exercise in brevity. I'm trying to be as terse as possible but an example may be more helpful.
Also, the system is yet to be playtested which I plan on doing very soon.
Amazing, totally want to try this. An incredible example of convergent design with my GIST!. It makes perfect sense since sources of inspiration are common!
Thank you Zeruhur, I just discovered Gist! via Sigve Solvaag's blogspot about FKR tags. I did spot some similarities but Gist! looks stunning.
Thank you! Since it is such a stripped down ruleset, I thought that a good presentation was mandatory to give it some boost.
